HeySender charges a flat monthly price for the plan you pick. What you send through SES is billed by AWS, directly to you, with nothing added on top. Every limit is written below, and you get warnings at 70, 85 and 100 percent.

What the numbers mean
No fine print to find later.
- Active contact: someone you can still email for at least one purpose. Unsubscribed and suppressed contacts stay stored for safety but don't count.
- Delivery: one message SES accepts for one recipient, whether it then lands or bounces. Suppressed recipients, test sends and sandbox sends don't count. Opens, clicks and webhooks never count.
- At the limit: bulk sends pause and tell you why. Transactional email, forms and incoming bounce data keep working, and nothing is deleted.
- Going over on purpose: turn on overage with a hard monthly cap you set. €6 per extra 5,000 contacts and €0.45 per extra 1,000 deliveries, never more than your cap.
Why not unlimited? Because every recipient still costs something to render, queue, track and store. "Unlimited" plans pay for that with fair-use rules you only discover when you hit them. Here the limit is the number on the card.
Questions
Asked before anyone pays.
Do I pay HeySender for my SES sending?
No. You connect your own SES account and AWS bills you for sending, at AWS's price. HeySender never sees or marks up that bill.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. A new account starts on the free Developer plan. You add a card only when you choose a paid plan.
What happens if I hit a limit?
You are warned at 70 and 85 percent. At 100 percent, new bulk sends pause with a clear reason until you upgrade or turn on capped overage. Transactional email and your data are never touched.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade, and you see the price difference before you confirm. If a downgrade leaves you over a limit, nothing is deleted: you get a banner saying what is over and how to fix it.
Is email verification included?
On paid plans you connect your own Reoon key and pay Reoon directly. Verification credits bought through HeySender are priced separately and shown in a ledger, never bundled into the plan price.
What does "Sent with HeySender" mean on the free plan?
A small line on the public pages your contacts see, such as the unsubscribe and preference pages. Paid plans remove it.
